The MILA Immigration Staff Attorney is responsible for removal defense before Immigration Court, Board of Immigration Appeals, and the US 9th Circuit Court, and for representing clients in affirmative types of immigration legal status before the California Superior Court, USCIS.

La persona en este puesto brindará servicios de interpretación con el objetivo de superar la barrera del idioma entre las comunidades indígenas y los proveedores que atienden a la comunidad. Trabajar en esta posición requiere flexibilidad y disponibilidad para interpretar cuando sea necesario. Se llamará a los intérpretes cuando se requieran sus servicios, lo que puede incluir noches y fines de semana.
