Your support is vital to continue empowering, supporting, and organizing the Indigenous migrant community.

MICOP provides services to 20,000 individuals annually across Ventura, Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo counties.

We operate a diverse portfolio of programs, including:

  • family case management services,
  • youth programming,
  • leadership development,
  • wellness,
  • advocacy,
  • legal assistance,
  • and Radio Indigena 94.1 FM.

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we rely on the generosity of our supporters, sponsors and donors to carry out our mission. Your contribution directly supports MICOP’s work to strengthen the indigenous migrant community of California’s Central Coast.

General Fund Donations

Your one-time gift or monthly giving plan will directly support:

  • Immediate access to culturally appropriate food for farmworker families facing hardship due to unstable seasonal work.
  • Critical legal immigration support to help families navigate complex processes and keep loved ones together.
  • Health and wellbeing services for Indigenous migrant youth and survivors of domestic violence—ensuring they have the care and resources they need to heal and thrive.
  • Organizing and empowerment efforts that support dignified wages, safer working conditions, and a Central Coast agricultural industry where every worker is respected and valued.

Sponsorship

MICOP offers sponsorship opportunities during our annual giving campaigns and events. We welcome partnerships from a variety of stakeholders, including businesses, non-profits and individuals.

Sponsorship Opportunities Include:

  • Tequio Rising Event(s): Tequio Rising is a fundraiser that supports our Tequio Scholarship Program. This Scholarships provides financial assistance to students of Indigenous migrant roots on their journeys towards higher education.
  • Noche de Pueblos Originarios: As MICOP's flagship fundraising event, this celebration brings together community leaders, advocates, partners, and supporters. Proceeds directly support our culturally rooted programs and services.
