Promotor/a/x - Aprendiendo con Mamá y Papá
Mixteco/Indigena Community Organizing Project (MICOP) esta en busqueda de un promotor/a/x para el programa Aprendiendo con Mama y Papa en Paso Robles, CA. La Promotor/a apoyará y fortalecerá la capacidad de las familias indígenas que tienen niños de 0-5 años para mejorar la calidad de vida. La persona en esta posición, evalúa el desarrollo de los niños para que puedan recibir los servicios necesarios y promueve la educación a temprana edad. Será el puente entre las familias y las agencias que ofrecen servicios.

Tequio Co - Coordinator - Santa Maria
MICOP is seeking to hire a Tequio Co-Coordinator in Santa Maria, CA! The Tequio Group Co-Coordinator position is a team effort leading the Tequio Youth Group program in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties. Each Co-Coordinator will be responsible for the full manager responsibilities for one quarter (3 months) each year. The Co-Coordinator supports the development and implementation of a policy advocacy agenda working with and increasing the capacity of grassroots leadership, organizational stakeholders, and community allies.

Administrative Assistant I - Santa Maria
Mixteco/Indígena Community Organizing Project (MICOP) seeks to hire an Administrative Assistant in Santa Maria, CA. The Receptionist and Administrative Assistant is responsible for greeting and assisting MICOP clients, visitors, and business partners in a friendly and professional manner. The person in this role provides administrative and clerical support for MICOP’s programs and administrative staff.

Intérprete - Servicios de Interpretación e Idiomas
Mixteco/Indigena Community Organizing Project (MICOP) esta en busqueda de un Interprete con fluidez en Purepecha. La persona en este puesto brindará servicios de interpretación con el objetivo de superar la barrera del idioma entre las comunidades indígenas y los proveedores que atienden a la comunidad. Trabajar en esta posición requiere flexibilidad y disponibilidad para interpretar cuando sea necesario. Se llamará a los intérpretes cuando se requieran sus servicios, lo que puede incluir noches y fines de semana.

Program Coordinator - Interpretation and Language Services
Mixteco/Indígena Community Organizing Project (MICOP) seeks to hire an Interpreter Coordinator. The person in this position will work closely with MICOP’s Executive Director and second program coordinator to oversee MICOP’s Indigenous Language Interpreter program, deploying interpreters to local, regional, and national agencies for on-site or telephonic interpretation, coordinating ongoing interpreter training for staff, provide interpretation services, facilitate Interpreters’ Language Network, provide cultural and linguistic competency training to contractors about MICOP’s Indigenous Language Interpreter Program and protocols.
