CLOSING DECEMBER 1ST! Our scholarship application is closing soon! Be sure to submit your applications by Monday, December 1st! 🌟 MICOP and Gold Coast Health Plan (GCHP) are offering the Student Behavioral Health Incentive Program (SBHIP) Scholarship! 🎓 This scholarship aims to invest in scholars and increase diversity among behavioral health providers in Ventura County.

Eligibility: Students pursuing a degree in behavioral health services, including those on a “non-traditional” educational path. Applicants must reside or have recently resided in Ventura County. Applications are only open until Monday, December 1st. Don’t miss your chance to make a difference! 💙

MICOP Offices in Santa Maria, Paso Robles, and Oxnard will be closed on Thursday, November 28, and Friday, November 29. We’ll be back to regular hours on Monday, December 2nd!

As we enjoy the break, let’s take a moment to reflect on Thanksgiving's history. While often seen as a time to give thanks, it’s also an opportunity to acknowledge the deep history of Indigenous peoples, who have faced centuries of displacement and colonization. Today, Native communities continue to demonstrate resilience, strength, and valuable contributions that shape our society and culture.
