Living with Love
What is Living with Love?
Living with Love is a direct Prevention and Early Intervention (PEI) mental health and domestic violence program. It was designed with the intent to address issues of depression, anxiety, domestic violence, sociol-cultural isolation, and linguistic isolation for Mexican indigenous migrant populations including Latinos. It aids in decreasing mental health stigma, increasing awareness for mental health issues, and providing access to mental health services and domestic violence support resources. Living with Love is a curriculum and a program of MICOP, the information that is shared is a combination of concepts of experiences and education acquired.
The Living with Love curriculum is divided into eight modules covering key concepts that previous research suggests can influence self-love, self-empowerment, self-respect, and wellness.
Our findings demonstrated statistically significant improvements across nearly every metric targeted by the program!
